The holiday season can be a stressful time of year.  Below are a few tips and tricks that can help relieve that stress!

1. Use a lint roller to get rid of errant pine needles - Even if you water regularly, your tree will still shed needles.  One of the best ways to make your living space needle free, is with an oversized lint roller.

2. Set up a spreadsheet to track budgets and presents - Preparing ahead for gift buying with a spreadsheet can be a huge help.  This can help track where you are with gift buying and preparation, as well as with budgeting.

3. Keep your receipts - Not every gift is a hit.  Be sure to keep your receipts in a safe location in case they are needed.

4. Make a meal plan and stick to it - Make a guest list and see what they like.  Plan ahead and keep things simple.

5. Set everything up the night before the party - Keep the stress low by preparing for your party the night before.  Get everything rearranged in the house the day before and make a simple list of what needs to be accomplished on the day of the party.

6. Know what to do if your flight gets cancelled - No matter what, call the airline first.  By doing this - you're getting to someone who can help you right away - instead of waiting in a line.

7. Get your car's maintenance done before you travel - Get ahead of any issues and be sure to pack emergency supplies such as blankets, first aid kits, jumper cables and more.
