OSWEGO, NY (June 9, 2025) – Compass Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the recipients of this year’s Scholarship Awards, presenting $14,000 to nine deserving members.
Oswego High School Seniors, Alaina DiBlasi and Mischa Palmitesso were each awarded the credit union’s $4,000 scholarships.
DiBlasi will be attending Binghamton University in the fall with a major in Engineering, while Palmitesso will attend Western New England University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering.
Audrey Donovan, who will soon attend the University of Delaware majoring in History, was awarded this year’s $2,000 scholarship. Donovan will graduate from Oswego High School.
Four more graduating seniors also earned $500 scholarships including Lauren Adkins, Keegan Finch, Jacob Guelli and Sophia Kropf.
Adkins, an Oswego High School senior, will attend SUNY Geneseo in the fall, majoring in Childhood Education. Oswego High School senior, Finch, will major in Sports Analytics and Statistics at Syracuse University. Guelli, a Charles W. Baker High School senior, plans to attend SUNY Brockport, majoring in Exercise Science. Oswego High School senior, Kropf, will study Childhood Education at SUNY Oswego or SUNY Brockport.
Ian MacKenzie and Kristen Singh were selected as Continuing Education Scholarship recipients, each receiving $1,000.
MacKenzie attends SUNY Geneseo, studying Biology, while Singh attends Rutgers University, majoring in Rehabilitation Counseling.
